Episode 31 All That Glitters Internet Soap Opera
“How’s Nicholas?” asks Carol.
“He’s in serious but stable condition,” says Frank. “He made it through the surgery okay.”
“What had happened?” asks Carol.
“His head was bashed in with what appears to be a lead pipe,” says Frank. “The police are investigating.”
“Do you think it was related to whatever it was he was investigating?” asks Carol.
“Possibly,” says Frank. “After all, it happened at the Golde compound. And I’m sure he was investigating something for Marie Golde-Flint.”

“Dr. Steele, you will be in charge of Mr. Cole’s case,” says Dr. Shimmer. “Because it’s an attempted homicide case, they will have guards outside the room.”
“Are any visitors allowed?” asks Amanda.
“Until he’s awake, only hospital staff are allowed,” says Dr. Shimmer.

“Nana, who is this Lucy?” asks Lisa. “What is she doing here?”
“Sit down, Lisa,” says Blanche. “It’s a long story.”
“Well?” Lisa asks, sitting down and waiting for Blanche to begin.
“Lisa is your mother,” says Blanche.
“My mother?!” cries Lisa. “You told me my mother was dead.”
“And so she is, in a way,” says Blanche. “Lucy is mentally disturbed, so I had her placed in a group home after you were born and raised you myself.”
“What about my father?” asks Lisa. “Is he really dead?”
“I can’t tell you anything about your father,” says Blanche.
“That’s a lie,” says Lisa. “I can see it in your face.”
“There are things I can answer and things I can’t,” says Blanche.
“Can’t? Or won’t?” asks Lisa.
Blanche ignores the question.
“What did Lucy mean about David being ‘Daddy’?” asks Lisa. “Did you tell her about him?”
“I don’t know what she meant,” says Blanche. “She never met Rick. Maybe she thought he was Rick.”
“Well, I don’t want her to go blabbing about that David is the father,” says Lisa.
“No. Definitely not,” says Blanche.

“What’s been happening here?” asks David.
“If you were around more often, you’d know,” says Jason.
“Stop that,” says William. He turns to David. “One of our employees was knocked out in one of the janitor’s closets last night. We also found a box of uncut diamonds in that closet.”
“What does it all mean?” asks David.
“We don’t know yet, but the police are investigating,” says Robert. “Be forewarned that you may be questioned.”
“At least I have an alibi,” says David. “An interesting one, too.”
“Really? And what would that be?” asks Mark.
“I had dinner at the Copperfield’s,” says David. “We had an interruption by someone named Lucy, who claimed to be Lisa’s mother.”
“Lucy?” asks Tom.
“Yes, Lucy Albright,” says David.
