Episode 36 All That Glitters Internet Soap Opera

Leslie bursts into the kitchen. “Mom, we had a wonderful time last night! Oh-” she stops, spying William at the table, drinking coffee in a dressing gown.

“If you’ll excuse me,” says William, “I’d better get to the office.”

Leslie turns to Melanie. “Well, you were busy last night. Good thing we didn’t come home.”

“That’s enough,” says Melanie. “Things are going according to plan.”

“Dad was right,” says Leslie. “Things are going very smoothly for you.”

“What happened this morning?” Michael asks.

“Mr. Cole was delirious due to a high fever. We’re checking for possible infections,” says Amanda.

“Nothing was tampered with, was it?” asks Michael.

“No. This is a common occurrence,” says Amanda. “It’s unfortunate, though. We were hoping he would be discharged soon.”

“The sooner the better,” says Michael.

“Are you only concerned for the hospital’s sake?” asks Amanda.

“Naturally I’m concerned about him as a human being,” says Michael, a little piqued. “But I’d rather not have to worry about the hospital’s liability as well.”

“Then we’ll do all we can to get him out of here quickly,” says Amanda.

“Ashley, were you flirting with Alex?” asks Tara.

“What do you mean?” asks Ashley in return, as she is applying some lipstick.

“At dinner last night, when you were talking to him. Did you flirt?” asks Tara.

“Honey, I flirt with everyone,” says Ashley.

“Were you serious?” asks Tara.

“I’m never serious, but others sometimes take me seriously,” says Ashley.

“Why do you do this?” asks Tara. “You were always flirting with our boyfriends and breaking up our relationships. Aren’t you ever happy with your own?”

“I get bored easily,” says Ashley. “Yours and Belle’s boyfriends always seemed so much more interesting and fun.”

“Yet, you say you’re never serious. So, why can’t you leave our relationships alone?” asks Tara.

“Just think of all the trouble I saved you,” says Ashley. “If I didn’t take them away from you, someone else might have, but you wouldn’t have found out until much later. If they can’t stay faithful to you, you’re better off without them.”

“We’d thank you to leave it alone,” says Tara. “You never even give us much of a chance to develop a relationship with anyone before you step in. So, I’m warning you now. Stay away from Alex!”

“You were a wonderful hostess, Sylvia,” says John.

“Thank you, dear,” says Sylvia. “I enjoyed myself.”

“I think you will be the next great society matron. Perhaps, you should start thinking of a Christmas ball,” says John.

“That’s a very good idea,” says Sylvia.

“What is all this?” asks Lisa, opening a box of Lucy’s belongings that arrived from the group home.

“That’s my medicine and things I need for when I have an asthma attack,” says Lucy.

“You have asthma?” asks Lisa.

“Sometimes,” says Lucy. “I don’t get sick often, but when I get very stressed out, I can have an asthma attack.”

“Do you know how to use all this?” asks Lisa.

“Yes,” says Lucy. “But when the attack is bad, I need some help.”

“Maybe you should show me, just in case,” says Lisa.

“That won’t be necessary,” says Blanche, interrupting. “I’ll be here.”
